Delivery
Most of our items are from stock and are usually ready for delivery within one week of purchase. Special orders and commissions may take longer.
When you register as a user on the site you have the opportunity to reserve items for up to 4 days and to request a delivery quote from us for your order to anywhere in the world. You will also be given an approximate lead time for delivery. While you are holding an item on reserve pending a delivery quote nobody else will be able to purchase your reserved item. All payments can be made securely online.
You are also very welcome to organise your own delivery/shipping if you so wish.
Small items can be collected in person or can be sent by post or courier. Sent items will be charged at cost plus a small charge for packing.
We can deliver throughout the UK and Europe, and anywhere else in the world.
London / M25
Larger items can be collected either from our Spitalfields shop or from our warehouse in Hackney. They can also be sent by taxi-van within the M25 or near to London. This works out at about half the cost of a van delivery and the delivery charge is paid directly to the driver when he delivers.
Oversize or very heavy items for delivery within the M25 or near to London are usually sent by tail-lift van. Price dependant upon location and the number of people needed for lifting. We use a specialist independent firm for this service. We also have access to all types of specialist lifting gear for heavy and/or bulky items to inaccessible/high locations.
UK & Europe
Anywhere else within the UK, including Scotland & Wales, delivery is usually made by tail-lift luton van or through the UK Pallet Network. Northern Ireland, Eire, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and the Channel Islands are also available.
UK & European van deliveries are made using any one of a number of specialist firms. These deliveries are often grouped so you may need to be prepared to wait for a few weeks.
Rest of the world
We have over ten years experience of shipping internationally and will be glad to advise and quote for international delivery whether by courier, shipping carton, 20' or 40' container.
